Alfredo Sauce

I've tried several Alfredo sauces, and this is the best I've found so far! Serve with 1/3 to 1/2 box of pasta, and pour it over your steamed veggies for added flavor. So good! Serves 4-6.

Alfredo Sauce

1/2 c butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 pint heavy whipping cream
1/4 tsp salt
ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 c grated Parmesan cheese

1. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook for 4 minutes.
2. Add cream, stirring constantly. Mix in salt, pepper, nutmeg and Parmesan cheese. Stir constantly until cheese is melted (it could take awhile). Serve hot.
