Pico de Gallo

My friend gave me some fresh tomatoes from her garden...so I whipped up some of this. I served it over tacos and it was fantastic! It would also be fabulous with chips or served over any other Mexican dish. This serves about 4 people.

Pico de Gallo

4 vine-ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c fresh cilantro, chopped
juice of one lime, about 3 Tbsp
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Mix ingredients in a bowl and let sit in fridge at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to mix together. Serve cold.
